RADKEV R52 Mylar Feed Window Material is called RADKEV R52 for short is a Microwave Transmissive Composite Material that’s engineered and designed specifically for Radio Frequency (RF) applications. The RADKEV R52 Mylar Feed Window Material is typically used as a replacement material for satellite antenna and satellite ground station feedhorns to provide a waterproof, UV stabilised, and RF transparent protective barrier.
The RADKEV R52 Mylar Feed Window Material is made up of Kevlar Infused Fiberglass and PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) blended material that incorporates a flat, plain weave in the structural substrate. The superior material and structure of the RADKEV R52 Mylar Feed Window Material provides a stronger, longer lasting solution when compared to traditional mylar only solutions.
The RADKEV R52 Mylar Feed Window Material is available in custom sizes and with a maximum width up to 100cm. The STEP Electronics team can cut the RADKEV R52 Mylar Feed Window Material to the exact size and shape as required by customers.
