Transceiver Accessories

Codan offers a range of switching equipment that integrates easily with the 5700 series C-Band or 5900 series Ku-Band transceivers. The systems include interconnecting cables, mounting hardware and waveguide connections.A complete system comprises two standard transceivers, of any power rating, and the outdoor mounting Redundancy Controller 5586 that provides integral IF relays and simultaneously controls the RF switches.

Although this system is outdoor mounted, indoor monitoring is available by using the 5587 Redundant System Monitor.

The 5700 has universal interface compatibility with dumb terminals, laptops/PC emulating terminals, hand held terminals and personal organisers without requiring proprietary software. The versatile configuration options support: contact closure, RS232, RS422 and RS485 (2 or 4 wire).

Codan's 5560 Hand Held Controller is suitable for in the field installation setup.
